Privacy Policy

Falcon is a locksmith company in the Greater Toronto Area. This system is Falcon's private tool for dispatching jobs to its office staff, technicians and partner companies. It is not a public service: only people Falcon has invited can sign in. This policy explains what information the system handles and why.
What we collect
- From your Google account when you sign in: your name, email address and profile photo. We never receive or store your Google password.
- Work information: jobs, and the customer details that come with them (name, phone number and address), entered by Falcon's office or by partners, plus status updates, notes and prices.
- Location: when a technician taps a status button (for example "On my way" or "Arrived"), the app may ask the device for its current location. It is saved with that update and as the technician's last known position. This only happens when the technician taps and the device allows it; there is no background tracking.
- Basic technical records, such as when you last signed in, and standard server logs kept by our hosting providers.
How we use it
- To receive leads, assign jobs to technicians and follow them until they are done.
- To show every user only what belongs to them.
- To calculate technician earnings and partner fees, and to produce reports for Falcon's management.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see what
- Falcon's owner and managers see the business information needed to run dispatch.
- A technician sees only the jobs assigned to them, their own earnings and their own reviews.
- A partner company sees only the leads it sent and its own fees.
- These limits are enforced on the server and in the database, not only in the screens.
Service providers
- Supabase — database and sign-in.
- Vercel — hosting of the web application.
- Google — sign-in with your Google account.
- OpenStreetMap — maps. When a job is saved, its address is sent to OpenStreetMap's address search to place it on the map.
- Twilio — the business phone number: calls and text messages to and from Falcon pass through it, and it records calls.
- OpenAI — turns call recordings into text (transcription). Recordings are sent for this purpose only.
We use a small number of providers to run the system. Some of them store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
Phone calls and text messages
- Calls to and from Falcon's business phone numbers are recorded from the moment they are answered, and the recordings are turned into text. This includes calls between a technician and a customer that go through Falcon's number.
- Text messages sent to or from Falcon's business numbers are saved with the job they belong to.
- When a technician calls or texts a customer through the app, the customer sees Falcon's business number, not the technician's personal number.
- We use recordings, transcripts and messages to serve customers, to check the quality of the work, and to resolve questions or disputes about a job.
- Only Falcon's owner and managers can listen to recordings. A recording is never available through a link alone: the listener must be signed in with the right role.
How long we keep it
Job and payment records are kept for as long as Falcon needs them for its business and for accounting and legal obligations. A user's access can be switched off at any time, and it stops immediately.
Security
Sign-in is only through Google, so we hold no passwords. All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Every request is checked against the signed-in user's role before any data is returned.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or ask a question about this policy, by contacting the Falcon office — the person who invited you to the system. We handle personal information in line with Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA).
Changes
If we change how the system handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
